Fives Farm, Winfrith Newburgh, near Lulworth Cove
Deep in the rolling hills of the south Dorset Purbecks, within walking distance of Lulworth Cove
and Durdle Door, the undisputed jewels of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Our site is the top field of a working farm, with views and footpaths heading off in all directions.
We have a collection of 25 comfortable bell tents, in 2021 we were sold out and in 2022 we had to up the numbers of tents, yet still kept the tranquillity that the site provides.
Car are parked away from the bell tents at all times, on entering the field you will see the dedicated carpark area in front of you and you can use one of our wheelbarrows to help you get your bags from car to your bell tent.
On site catering from FIVES FOOD, serving breakfast and evening food, and that all important coffee.
POWER SHOWERS
Showers are free to use and are part of a luxury 6 bay hot shower block (better than the one at home) Each shower room is a small self contained room that includes a bathroom sink, mirror and seat too.
Bins and shower squeegee is supplied in each shower.
A regular plan of cleaning and sanitising will take place each day when traffic to showers is at its lowest. Please let the site manager know if there are any issues during your stay with the shower block.
FIRE PITS
Nothing beats sitting round a warm fire as the cool of the summer night rolls in and the sun sets. Enjoy a glass of wine, meet new friends or just sit and enjoy the fire.
There is a large central fire pit situated in front of the bell tents, that can be utilised for BBQ or toasting marshmallows.
If you fancy you own personal fire bowl for in front of your bell tent. You can hire the fire bowls, logs and kindling at booking or subject to availability this can be done on site via the site office.
£30 per fire pit, also available is bags of logs and kindling -
The use of a fire pit or barbecue are always going to be weather permitting. IN THE EVENT OF HOT DRY WEATHER (as 2022) NO FIRE PITS or BARBECUES CAN BE USED ON SITE. Refunds will be made for any pre booked.
LOOS
Our site feature flushing (blue rinse) luxury loo blocks, the type of thing you would find at a wedding or similar VIP event. Toilet roll, bins, soap and hand towels is supplied.
A regular plan of cleaning and sanitising will take place each day when traffic to loos is at its lowest.
Please let the site manager know if there are any issues during your stay with the toilet blocks.
RECEPTION AREA
The reception area is where you will find:

the communal large chest freezer

a charge point for electronic devices

information about the local area, transport, shops and eateries

colouring station for kids and box of communal toys
If you have any issues or questions during your stay please contact the site manager on the telephone number provided in the reception area at any time. Someone at the farm is on call (24/7).
ARRIVING WITH US
CARPARK
Vehicles are to be parked in the designated Carpark Area, situated directly in front of the entry gate to the glamping field and is well marked out.
The carpark is a short walk away from your Bell Tent and the tented area of the site is traffic free, apart from service vehicles.
Wheelbarrows are provided to assist you with taking your belonging to your tent
DOGS
Dogs are welcome to stay with you (there is an additional charge). Due to the site being on a working farm, and to respect others guests all dogs be kept on a lead at all time whilst on site.
POP UP FOOD & DRINK
FIVES FOOD will be on site everyday serving breakfast and evening, along with cold and hot drink.
MEETING FARM ANIMALS
We work closely with the farmer and they often like to meet our guests. At Fives Farm Craig and his family have sheep and donkeys and have been happy for guests to meet the animals.
Direction to site
Drive through the village of Winfrith Newburgh and at the church turn right. Fives Farm turning is situated approx 50yrds up the road on the right hand side. Follow the signs for Purbeck Glamping, turning up the track and drive to the top .
Check in from 3 pm
Please don't arrive before 3 pm as we will be busy servicing the bell tents and other facilities prior to you arrival.
You will receive a text message on the date of your arrival with information including your allocated Bell Tent Number and Gate Entry Code.
If you have hired bedding pack, fire pit or fire wood these will be situated inside your tents.
Upon arrival if you have any issues please contact the site manager on the phone number provided to you. (They are on-call 24/7)
Check out is 10am
Please leave your Bell tent as it was found, ensuring hired bedding is folded on the bed, and that your hired fire pit has been emptied into the ash bin or communal fire pit.
